Hey there! I’m Ryan – the face, heart, and eye behind Ryan Steptoe Imagery.

Photography isn’t just a hobby or a job to me – it’s how I connect with people and tell stories that words can’t quite capture. There’s something really special about freezing a moment in time…the kind of moment that might seem small at first but turns out to mean everything later on. Whether it's a laugh between friends, a quiet glance during a wedding, or the wild beauty of nature - those are the snapshots that fuel my passion.

I’m all about chasing light, emotion, and realness. My style? Natural, timeless, and just a little bit playful. I believe the best photos happen when people feel comfortable, relaxed, and free to be themselves - so I like to keep things chill, have a few laughs, and let the magic unfold naturally.

When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll probably find me playing drums at church, flying drones, or dreaming up my next big creative project. I’m also super passionate about using my skills in ways that make a difference - whether it’s documenting special moments, supporting community events, or capturing the world from new heights.

  • Absolutely! I’m based in Brisbane, but I’m available for weddings anywhere in Australia and beyond. Travel fees may apply depending on the location.

  • I don’t limit the number of photos I deliver. You’ll receive every beautiful, meaningful, and high-quality image from your day - all professionally edited and ready to download in high resolution. On average, this ends up being 500-900+ photos for a full-day wedding, but it really depends on how the day unfolds.

  • Definitely. I always recommend a pre-wedding catch-up, whether in person or via video call. It’s a great way to chat about your timeline, photo ideas, and make sure we’re a great fit.
